Would you know what to say to de-escalate a confrontation? Ladies, do you have street sense? Parents, what about you?
The Bridge Bible Fellowship is sponsoring a FREE self-protection seminar which will focus on awareness and safety tips as well as demonstrate realistic methods of personal protection. This is not a sport and there are no belts. There are no memorized steps and no robotic movements. We’ll learn that the secret to self-defense isn’t muscle memory…it’s tapping survival memory.
Men, women and students (High School & above) are welcome to join us THIS Saturday in the K Building from 9am to Noon. Invite friends. Please call the Church Office (818.776.1500) and let Diane know you’ll be coming so we have enough material for everyone. Don’t miss out on this FREE seminar hosted by Bob Jensen and Kate Kearns!!
See you Saturday!
I’m really looking forward to this seminar!
It would be really helpful if you are going to attend to shoot Diane Baker an RSVP so we can be sure to have enough materials.
Hope to see you there!
I would like to attend the self protection seminar if it is this Sat. Aug.11th. I have been away a few days and missed church last Sunday, the 5th.
Martha, that’s great! I’ve added you to the list. There’s still time to RSVP for tomorrow’s seminar. It’s for men and women and youth (H.S. and above) AND the room will be air conditioned
The “Great Escape” Class on Saturday was soooo good! I am very thankful that God has put it on Bob Jensen’s heart to offer these free classes as part of his ministry. Many of you who took the class on Saturday have signed up for his Wednesday night classes (as part of the “Family Nights At The Bridge.”) If you haven’t sign up yet, please do so in the West Wing on Sunday as space will be limited and classes are FREE for men and women. This would be a great outreach for you to bring a nonbeliever. Classes will run from 6:30-7:30pm AND from 7:30-8:30pm (depending on the number of sign-ups received).
